Lao Prime Minister Visits the Emperor Qinshihuang’s Mausoleum Site Museum




The Prime Minister of the Lao People' Democratic Republic, Thongloun Sisoulith and his party, accompanied by Jiang Zaidong, China's Ambassador to Lao, Xu Datong, Deputy Governor of Shaanxi Province, and Yao Hongjuan, Director of Shaanxi Foreign Affairs Office, visited the Emperor Qinshihuang’s Mausoleum Site Museum on Jan. 8.




At the electronic sand table of the Emperor Qinshihuang’s Mausoleum, Zhang Yan, deputy director of the Emperor Qinshihuang’s Mausoleum Site Museum, introduced the layout, archaeological excavation and planning of the mausoleum and the terracotta warriors pits to Thongloun. After entering the No.1 pit, Thongloun faced the magnificent Qin Dynasty military array, and was amazed by the wisdom and superb skills of the ancient Chinese people more than 2,000 years ago.




"I was deeply impressed by the terracotta warriors. This is China’s great history, and it is also a world miracle. Thanks to the People's Government of Shaanxi Province for arranging me to visit," Thongloun wrote in the message book at the end of the visit.
